All projects shown below are selected websites that I have designed and coded. You can see my progression from the second year of University to now.
The client is Colourscope Decorators. A business card and a yellow page ad were required. The concept behind these two pieces was to keep them clean, colourful and fresh. The initial theme was taken from the website that was also created by myself so it would all tie in together as one.
This website was created in order to give Champerene a brand and image on the Internet. The design was built up from scratch and the design was left completely up to me. I wanted to portray a sleek and professional look by incorporating the colours from the logo, which were shades of grey and brown. I also brought in the colour green which corresponded really well with the other light subtitle shades. The client asked for basic shopping system to be placed within the website and Paypal seemed to be a suitable choice.
This project was made in order to showcase a U.K producer in the U.K with his new album. The idea was to use their album cover as a backdrop and a simple content section running down the centre. The website was taken down due to hosting cost problems but a new website is going to be made in the future with more features so watch this space.
This website was created in order to update the old companies image. The design was built up from scratch and the design was left completely up to me. I wanted to portray a sleek and professional look by incorporating the colours from the logo, which was pink so I took shades and implemented them to the overall design. Unfortunately the company had problems with current budget and had to abandon the project to why the website has no real content or pages to navigate through. Flower Scenta loved the design and hopefully in the future we will be able to continue this project. This is also the first website that I started scripting in XHTML and CSS.
This was my third year University personal project in which I decided that I wanted to build a simple Online Shop catering for cds and custom t-shirts. I felt that PHP/MySql was a challenge for me in the second year so I wanted to take up the challenge on whether I could build a dynamic shop, which was a huge step. I’m not going to lie and say that it wasn’t easy but I managed to build a successful website in the end that I was very happy with.
This website was built to showcase my work whilst at University for the end of year degree show. I had only a day to really design it so I went with something small and simple.
This website was built in part of a brief that was set to advertise the D&AD student awards. The concept for the campaign was to symbolise a student entrant as “Creative New Blood” and the awards as “Absorption” for the new blood. This is one part of the marketing material that I produced for the website. The idea was to keep it small and in keeping with the theme of D&AD blood to why you see splatters and drips tied into the design layout.
In the second year at University we were given a brief to build and market a website. I chose to do a website for a business called Colourscope Decorators. They had yet to get onto the Internet to market themselves so a new basic website was constructed and a marketing plan was executed. Marketing such as SEO optimisation, META tags and Advertising was executed.
In the second year at University we were given a brief to build a website in Flash. This was my first time using Flash and it was very difficult but I managed to build a very small marketing gadget website with the audience intended for young children.
